Standing With Communities Through Every Storm
Drought and famine often go hand in hand, leaving families without enough food or water for months. In places like Kitui and Samburu, where the rains have grown increasingly unreliable, crops die, wells run dry, and hunger spreads quickly, hitting children and the elderly. Capture Foundation International has stepped in during these difficult seasons, delivering food and emergency supplies to communities across these regions.
Floods, on the other hand, bring a different kind of destruction, sweeping away homes and crops. In the aftermath, families need shelter, food, and medical care, along with clean drinking water to prevent the spread of disease. Through its relief efforts, the foundation has worked to reach flood-affected communities with these essentials, helping them recover and rebuild rather than simply survive.
At the center of much of this work is clean water; without it, people fall sick more often, and children often miss school just to fetch water from far away. By providing access to clean water in the communities it serves, Capture Foundation International helps improve health, save time, and open up new opportunities for families to work, learn, and grow.
