Who We Are
Capture Foundation International was founded in 2006 by five individuals whose relatives were infected with HIV/AIDS. Initially, the organization aimed to combat the stigma and discrimination faced by those living with the virus.
In 2009, the members realized that discrimination extended beyond just those infected, affecting individuals in education, treatment, job opportunities, business skills, and other social activities.
On December 5, 2011, the organization formalized its registration as Capture Foundation International (Reg. No. OP/218/051/11/0610/7518), reflecting its membership from across Kenya and abroad. Today, we have about 8,000 members from all over the country.
